Having successfully added 150+ schools in the past 2 months to the platform and having active projects in Limpopo and Gauteng, Chelo has grown significantly and is impacting more learners with each passing day. The story of Mma-Dammie and the community of Temba offers a good example of what can be achieved when people come together in the name of a bigger goal, which in our case is the development of society using education.

In the past month a highly impactful and revered teacher from the greater Hammmanskraal area, Gauteng, passed away and the team at Chelo were honoured to be among the attendees at Mma-Dammie's memorial celebrating her legacy and the communities she decisively help shape.
Described by actions throughout her 98-years old lifetime, one gets the impression of a stalwart who has left prints boundlessly scattered in Temba, with ripples of her storied life having a huge reach as evident by the publishing of numerous articles and personal posts in dedication to the service of the highly acclaimed "Matriarch of education".
